There are two primary versions of this rotor that look similar but serve different centrifuge lines:

- AS18-5 (Aluminum Alloy Kit): A high-speed version (P/N 19400073) designed for the DLAB D3024 & D1524R micro-centrifuges, reaching up to 15,000 rpm.
Compatible Adapters
While the AS18-5V rotor natively holds 5mL tubes, DLAB provides adapters to accommodate smaller microcentrifuge tubes (1.5mL, 2.0mL, 0.5mL, and 0.2mL) within the same slots. Common adapter kits include:
- A02P2: For 0.2mL PCR tubes.
- A05P2: For 0.5mL tubes (Catalog No. 19500002).
- SA05P2: Specific adapter kit for 2mL to 0.5mL reduction, often sold in packs of 8 or 24.
